A Good Time Was Had. . .by those who attended the Cousins' Reunion October 10-12, 2003. Family members from several states made the journey to Shawnee, Oklahoma, including those from the states of Florida, Texas, California, Idaho, Arizona, North Carolina, Virginia, and Oklahoma.

On Saturday afternoon, we enjoyed watching the Oklahoma vs. Texas football game; and it appeared that even our Texas relatives had a great time, despite their team's loss to Oklahoma.

We enjoyed the time we spent together Saturday evening and, especially, the great music provided by Jesse Ikard and Joyce Kahle. We were also entertained by some young family members. We can all be assured that our family's love of music will continue into the future thanks to these talented young people.

Sunday morning, Joyce Kahle, an ordained minister, delivered a wonderful message on the importance of contributing and also of family. More great music was enjoyed by all of us.

The cousins voted to get together in North Carolina for the next reunion. After some discussion, it was decided that we should meet in September 2004. Mildred "Billie" Ikard Bourgeois is the host for this get-together and will be contacting everyone in the future. (Start planning NOW to attend.)
